NIMMERLAND magazine
For the inside child

Editorial Design | Photography | Illustration

With NIMMERLAND my intention was to allure, fetch, revivify the inner child. One aim is to revive the innerchild in one‘s self. To have fun in the often so stressed and hectic grown up life. I strived for bringing the inner human child back to life in order to create space for joy and fun in the often stressful and hectic lives of grown-ups.

I strived for bringing the inner human child back to life in order to create space for joy and fun in the often stressful and hectic lives of grown-ups. Readers are reminded of their own past, so that they can think back and relive their easy and carefree childhood memories.

The foundation is made of portraits of friends, who I photographed with their favourite stuffed animal. This serial is the core of my magazine.  Among other stories, I have also conducted a survey about childhood experiences and have interviewed my friend called Madita, who still expresses her inner child.

I created the whole magazine - including all photography, illustrations, typography, art directions and texts - by myself.
