It's usually impossible for design students and new graduates to meet the designers whose work they admire and want to emulate. The International Design Week Melbourne ‘agIdeas‘ opened doors for them.
Through this program they can be part of a small group who not only get inside some top design studios but also get to have dinner and drinks with the principals and gain valuable insights into their ways of thinking and working. The initiative is strongly supported by many of Melbourne's most notable designers like Truly Deeply who, in so generously sharing their knowledge, boost the confidence and creativity of budding young designers and gives them the change to deepen their knowledge about the field.
My task was to create the invitation. The idea was to create some stereogram cards on which you can see one hidden letter. Through a kind of moving eyes called „eye crossing“ you can see a letter in 3D. In summary, the letters compose a short phrase “get deeper”.
