Etto
italian street pasta

Corporate Identity | Packaging Design

In the 19th century in Napoli, street vendors called maccaronari cooked spaghetti on rustic stoves and sold them by the handful. In the most uninhibited manner it was then eaten on the spot with barehands, plain or sprinkled with cheese. It represented an early expression of great food designed to be enjoyed on the go. It is this idea of great food on the go that has inspired the creation of ETTO to deliver a contemporary expression of Italian street food, the maccaronari of the 21st century.

For an Melbourne start up italian pasta take away my design was chosen for the corporate identity and packaging during my internship at Truly Deeply in Melbourne. The main concept was to bring typical italian feeling with lowprice but quality and delicious pasta to Australia.

Creating a visualisation out of bold colors in combination with typical black and white italian photos, brings the mediterranean and stylish atmosphere to alive.
