The intention of Mercedes-Benz was to create a creative and strategic campaign for the future electro car, without having seen or being able to show the car. The design also had to match with the new marketing position („The best or nothing“).

My idea was to look for a new attractive word-image in form pixels that everybody knows. I decided to use a common energy supply that everybody familiar with and loves: the mignon battery. They are not beautiful, but serve as an allegory for energy and what people are able to do with it. The visualisation can be used for the e-mobile, even if this car requires different ones. Thus, I did not only create an attractive campaign, but with those special photographed batteries I also created words, which describe the great number of e-mobile´s outstanding futures in a houmoristic way. In the end the campagne won the second prize.

For this project I was working under professional supervision of Prof. Thomas Rempen.
